• The Real Estate and Development Committee discusses the challenges of the sector in a visit to the Shura Council

    A delegation from Asharqia Chamber from the Real Estate Development and Development Committee visited the Shura Council on Wednesday, April 24, during which they met Dr. Tarek Ben Ali Fadak, Chairman of the Hajj, Housing and Services Committee of the Council, to discuss a number of challenges in the real estate sector.

    During the meeting, several issues were discussed, including Saudi Aramco's reservations and its impact on the real estate market, obstacles and challenges facing real estate finance, as well as the added value of the property.

     

    The chairman of the Real Estate and Housing Committee, Hamed bin Hamri, said that this visit by the members of the Committee comes within the framework of its keenness to discuss issues of interest to the real estate sector and enhance the value of the sector on the economic map in the Kingdom, as being the most prominent sector that intersects with all sectors and economic activities, as well as its role in improving the quality of life affirmed by the Vision of the Kingdom 2030.

    Bin Hamri pointed out that the meeting was positive, "We have seen the keenness of the officials that we have met to promote the positive points involved in the real estate market and work together to address all the problems and challenges facing the sector."​
